Dump Macro - Check
Preliminary check
Note: This procedure requires a machine ready for autonomous operation.
Locate machine near dump point.
Use strategic window to check the following:
Check walls detected by LADAR scans match lines of the surveyed operations area map.
Check Diagnostic code "8070 Machine Lost" and diagnostic code "8075 Check Localization" are not raised.
Check that Dump Point feature is placed in the location where machine control should transition from "Autopilot" to "Dump Point".
Check that Dump Point target point is placed in the location the tip of the bucket should be when dump action occurs.Operational check
Check the dynamic behavior of the machine in the dump point.Note: Ensure that when the check is performed that the machine has approached the dump point from the same direction and speed that would be typical during production operation.
Locate the machine away from the dump point.
Use the joystick menu or strategic window to select the dump point autopilot goal. Activate autopilot mode to commence dump.
Monitor the machine as it trams toward dump point, transitions to dump action, and completes the dump cycle. Be prepared to exit autopilot mode if any issues are detected. Monitor operator console for the following:
Check for sufficient clearance between machine and side walls
Check for sufficient clearance between bucket and drive ceiling
Check for sufficient clearance between bucket and drive floor
Check for sufficient clearance between bucket and any barrier guarding entrance into the dump location
Check for sufficient clearance between bucket and drive ceiling
Check that contents of bucket are dumped in correct location
Check that contents of bucket are dumped
