At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.Remove the filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the filler cap slowly in order to relieve pressure.
Note: Install a cap or a plug on all lines, hoses, wires, and tubes in order to prevent foreign materials from entering the system.
Remove the floorplate.
Drain the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal.
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the proper procedure.
Remove the coupling assembly for the steering pump .

Remove eight bolts (1) and the four half flanges. Disconnect two hydraulic hoses (2) from the steering pump.

Remove hydraulic tubes (3) from the steering pump.
Remove two hydraulic tubes (4) and one clip from the steering pump.

Disconnect hydraulic fitting (5) from the steering pump.

Disconnect two hydraulic lines (6) from the steering pump.

Remove three screws (7) and remove liner (8).
Install Tooling (A) and (B), as shown.
Install two straps in order to ensure balance.

Remove six bolts (9) from the flange on the steering pump.
Remove the steering pump from the machine. The weight of the steering pump is 193 kg (425 lb).
