Release the pressure from the hydraulic system.
1. Remove panel (1) from the right side of the machine. 2. Disconnect hydraulic line (4) from the pilot system relief valve.3. Remove two bolts (2) and washers. Remove valve group (3). There is a spring behind valve group (3). It will fall out when the valve group is removed. 4. Remove bolt (6) and valve group (5). 5. Remove plug (7) and retainer (8) from the valve body.6. Check the condition of the O-ring seals on the plug and in the retainer. If the seals have damage, use new parts for replacement. 7. Remove shims (11) from the retainer.8. Remove spring (10) and valve (9) from the valve body. 9. Remove two O-ring seals (12) from the valve group. Check the condition of the seals. If the seals have damage, use new parts for replacement. 10. Remove valve (13) from the valve body.Install Pilot System Relief Valve
1. Make sure all of the parts of the pilot system relief valve are clean and free of dirt or foreign material. Put clean hydraulic oil on the parts of the valve. 2. Install valve (1) in the valve body as shown.3. Install the two O-ring seals on the valve body. 4. Install plug (2) and the seal in the valve body.5. Install the O-ring seal in retainer (5).6. Install valve (3) and spring (4) in the valve body.7. Install the shims in the retainer and put the retainer in position on the valve body. 8. Install two bolts (7) that hold the retainer in position. Install O-ring seal (6). 9. Install inner valve group (8). Make sure the valve group does not slide out of the bore. Install one bolt that holds the valve group and tighten it to a torque of 39 2 lb ft (53 3 N m). 10. Install spring (10) and valve group (11). Install the two bolts that hold the valve group and tighten them to a torque of 39 2 lb ft (53 3 N m).11. Connect hydraulic line (9) to the valve group.12. Install the panel over the pilot system relief valve.
