(1) Oil drain plug
(2) Oil level plug
(3) Oil filler plug
Position one final drive so that oil drain plug (1) is at the bottom. Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" for information on Containing Fluid Spillage.
Remove oil level plug (2).
Check the oil level. The oil should be near the bottom of the opening of level plug (2).
Add oil through the opening of filler plug (3), if necessary. Note: Overfilling the final drive will cause the seals on the travel motor to allow hydraulic oil or water to enter the final drive. This may contaminate the final drive.
Clean oil level plug (2) and filler plug (3).
Apply pipe sealant to oil level plug (2) and filler plug (3).
Install oil level plug (2).
Install oil filler plug (3).
Repeat the procedure for the other final drive.
