Engine oil cooler core
Cylinder head gasketRecommended Actions
Engine Oil Cooler Core
Inspect the engine oil cooler core for leaks. If a leak is found, replace the oil cooler core. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Remove".
Drain the crankcase and refill the crankcase with clean engine oil. Install new engine oil filters. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for more information.Cylinder Head Gasket
Remove the cylinder head. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cylinder Head - Remove" for the correct procedure.
Check the cylinder liner projection. Refer to Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting for the correct procedure.
Install a new cylinder head gasket and new water seals in the spacer plate. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cylinder Head - Install" for the correct procedure.
