Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the check valve (slow return). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Check Valve (Slow Return) - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contamination of the hydraulic system with foreign material will reduce the service life of the hydraulic system components.To prevent contaminants from entering the hydraulic system, always plug or cap the lines, fittings, or hoses as they are disconnected. Cover any disassembled components and clean them properly before assembly.Clean the hydraulic system properly after any major component exchange or especially after a component failure, to remove any contamination.

Reposition tube assembly (1) in order to access check valve assembly (2). Remove check valve assembly (2) .Installation Procedure

Install check valve assembly (2). Tighten check valve assembly (2) to a torque of 35 4 N m (26 3 lb ft). Reposition tube assembly (1) to the original position.End By: Install the check valve (slow return). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Check Valve (Slow Return) - Remove and Install".
