1 6 291-5204 Locknut Use the following procedure to tighten the locknut 1 through the locknut 6 in the numerical sequence as shown in the Illustration 1:
1. Tighten in crisscross pattern to 23 3 N m (204 27 lb in).
2. Tighten in crisscross pattern to 28 3 N m (248 27 lb in).
3. Retighten in crisscross pattern to 28 3 N m (248 27 lb in).
2 6 293-4967 Taperlock Stud Before assembly, lubricate the threads and bearing surfaces with Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize.
Torque to 17 2 N m (150 18 lb in).
3 1 295-3099 Spark Plug Torque to 57.5 4.0 N m (42.4 3.0 lb ft).
4 2 342-1471 Connector Torque to 30 2 N m (266 18 lb in) within angle of rotation of 16 to 43 degrees from a pre-torque level of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Tighten the fitting to 30 2 N m (266 18 lb in).
5 1 353-3312 Filter Adapter Torque to 60 6 N m (44 4 lb ft).
6 1 353-3311 Filter Adapter Torque to 60 6 N m (44 4 lb ft).

7(1) 3 344-7833 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts for torque-turn method:
1. Tighten to 3.3 0.5 N m (29.2 4.4 lb in) and then rotate the fastener to 45 3 degrees.
2. Final turn on torque-turn method must meet 5.5 N m (48.7 lb in).
For torque method, tighten to 7.3 1.0 N m (64.6 8.9 lb in).
8(1) 1 342-1467 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the O-ring with clean oil.
9(1) 1 342-1468 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the O-ring with clean oil.
10(1) 1 342-1468 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the O-ring with clean oil.
