(1) 173-2197 Wire
Route the 173-2197 Wire (1) along the existing wiring harness. Route the wire assembly to the threshold for the right door. Use 7K-1181 Cable Straps (5) to secure the wire assembly.

Location of channel
Remove the mat from the right side of the cab. Remove the step plate. A channel (F) will be exposed in the floor.

Location for hole
Drill a 25.4 mm (1.00 inch) hole in the bottom of the channel (F) .

(6) 119-6105 Grommet
Route 173-2197 Wire (1) through the hole. Install 119-6105 Grommet (6) over the wire assembly. Install the grommet into the hole.

Location of fuse panel
Remove the cover for the fuse panel (G) from the right side of the cab.

Route 173-2197 Wire (1) behind the plastic panel below the fuse panel.

Console on the right side of the cab
Remove the cover plate (H) from the console that is located on the right side of the cab.
Connect the 6-pin receptacle of 173-2197 Wire (1) to the 209-3832 Harness (7) .

Ground location
Attach the black ground wire of 209-3832 Harness (7) to a suitable electrical ground (I) .

View of start switch (4) 207-7576 Connector (7) 209-3832 Harness
Attach the yellow wire of 209-3832 Harness (7) to the relay terminal (J) of the start switch. Use 207-7576 Connector (4) to make the connection.

Locations of switches
Locate two unused openings (K) in the control console.Note: You may need to create new openings in order to mount the switches if the existing openings are filled.
If necessary, cut two rectangular openings into the top of the console on the right side of the operator compartment. Cut the openings to 21 mm (0.82 inch) by 37 mm (1.46 inch).
Push each of the switches into the openings. The switches will lock in place.
Connect the 173-2192 Switch and the 173-2194 Switch to the connectors on 209-3832 Harness (7) .Note: The switches may not illuminate completely in a 12 volt application.
Install all covers that were removed.
Connect the negative battery cable at the battery.
Start the host machine. Check the operation of the broom.Note: The broom brushes must be touching the ground and the broom must be running in the normal operating position before the broom will angle.
