Which Generate This Code:The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
The engine has been running for at least 5 seconds.
The engine speed is above 350 rpm.
The engine oil pressure is less than 100 kPa (14.5 psi).
The two second delay time has expired.
No 0100 diagnostic codes for the engine oil pressure sensor are active.System Response:The code is logged. The ECM will reset the shutdown or the derate when the oil pressure rises 21 kPa (3 psi) above the low pressure trip point for 20 seconds. In order to manually reset the event code, turn the keyswitch to the OFF position and then turn the keyswitch to the ON position. If the engine shutdown input is "ENABLED" and there is no rise in oil pressure above the trip point, the fuel will be shut off and the engine will shut down after the two second delay has expired.If the engine shutdown input is "DISABLED" and there is no rise in oil pressure above the trip point, the engine will operate with reduced power after the two second delay has expired.Test Step 1.
