6I-9234 Transmission Case Gp
Refer to Illustration 5. Remove the following items from 111-3402 Front Cover (12) of the 6Y-4419 Transmission Planetary Gp (13) : 9P-2203 Sleeve (14), 5H-2767 O-Ring Seal (16) and 4M-8303 O-Ring Seal (17). Discard these items.
Install the following new items: 179-4352 Sleeve (15), 5H-2767 O-Ring Seal (16) and 4M-8303 O-Ring Seal (17). Failure to install the correct 179-4352 Sleeve will result in incorrect flow of lubrication to the transmission planetary.
Assemble 6I-9234 Transmission Case Gp. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.
Connect the new 174-8791 Output Transfer Gear and Case Gp (18) to the modified 6I-9234 Transmission Case Gp. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.
Install the new 174-8791 Output Transfer Gear and Case Gp and the modified 6I-9234 Transmission Case Gp. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

Refer to Illustration 6. Install 4J-0520 O-Ring Seal (3) into 180-6170 Block (19). Assemble 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal (20) onto 6V-8636 Connector (21) and install 6V-8636 Connector (21) into the block.

Refer to Illustration 6 and Illustration 7. When the components in Step 13 are installed, it may be necessary to remove material from the transmission mounting bracket in order to allow the installation of block (19). Modify the transmission mounting bracket in the area that is indicated. Remove the minimum amount of material.

180-6182 Transmission Oil Lines
Refer to Illustration 8. Attach block (19) to front cover (12). Connect the existing 123-6197 Hose Assembly (22) to the block. Use two half flanges (2), four bolts (4) and four hard washers (5) .
Assemble O-ring seal (20) onto tee (23). Install tee (23) into 2U-6971 Cover Plate (24) .
Install O-ring (25) into the groove on tee (23). Install O-ring seal (25) into the groove on connector (21).
Install 136-7694 Hose Assembly (26) between tee (23) and connector (21) .
Assemble O-ring seal (20) onto 6V-8724 Elbow (27). Install elbow (27) into bearing carrier (28) .
Install O-ring seal (25) into the groove on tee (23). Install O-ring seal (25) into the groove on elbow (27). Attach hose assembly (29) between tee (23) and elbow (27) .
Install O-ring seal (20) onto O-ring seal (30). Install the O-ring plug into front cover (12) .

Existing Gear Pump and Lubrication Oil Lines
Refer to Illustration 9. Remove the following items from 117-8584 Transmission Oil Pump and Scavenge Pump (31) : 2U-6564 Tube (32), 121-9156 Hose Assembly (33) and 123-6766 Hose Assembly (34). Retain the hoses.
Remove the existing 117-8584 Transmission Oil Pump and Scavenge Pump (31). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

161-8107 Gear Pump and Additional Lubrication Lines
Refer to Illustration 10. Install the new 161-8107 Gear Pump (36). Use O-ring seal (37), O-ring seal (38), bolts (39) and bolts (40). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.
Install tube (41) onto gear pump (36). Use O-ring seal (42), two half flanges (43), four bolts (44) and four hard washers (45) .
Install tube (46) onto magnetic screen (47). Use bolts (49). Install
