Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin. Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.
1. Allow machine to sit for ten minutes to allow the steering accumulator pressure to bleed off. Turning the front wheels back and forth will also aid in relieving the steering accumulator pressure. 2. Disconnect wire harness (1) at the electrical connection. Remove primary steering pressure switch (3) and the O-ring seal from combination valve (2). Plug combination valve (2) to avoid system contamination. The following steps are for the installation of the switch (primary steering pressure).3. Make sure all components of the primary steering pressure switch are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.4. Check the O-ring seal and all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary.5. Remove the plug from combination valve (2). Install the O-ring seal and primary steering pressure switch (3) to combination valve (2). Connect wire harness (1) at the electrical connection. Tighten primary steering pressure switch (3) to a torque of 100 15 N m (74 11 lb ft).6. Check the fluid level of the hydraulic tank.
