Start By:a. remove blade lift cylinder *b. remove centershift cylinder **This procedure depends on what cylinder yoke is being serviced. 1. Remove sleeve bearing (1) from cap assembly (2). 2. Position Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to yoke (3) as shown. Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist. 3. Remove two bolts (4), the plated washers, retainer (5), shims (7), and thrust disc (6) from the yoke. 4. Using Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device, remove yoke (3) from front frame assembly (8). Remove thrust disc (9) from yoke (3). The weight of yoke (3) is 79 Kg (175 lb). 5. Remove lip seal (10) from front frame assembly (8).6. Repeat Step 5 for the remaining lip seal. 7. Using a brass drift, remove sleeve bearings (11) and (12) from front frame assembly (8). The following steps are for the installation of the cylinder yoke (blade lift and centershift).8. Make sure all components of the cylinder yoke are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.9. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. 10. Lower temperature of sleeve bearings (11) and (12) to a temperature of -75 °C (-103 °F). Install sleeve bearings (11) and (12) to front frame assembly (8). The sealing lip of the lip seal should be installed facing outward.11. Install lip seal (10) to front frame assembly (8).12. Repeat Step 11 for the remaining lip seal. 13. Install thrust disc (9) to yoke (3). Using Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device, install yoke (3) to front frame assembly (8). The weight of the yoke (3) is 79 Kg (175 lb). 14. Using a micrometer, measure the thickness of retainer (5). Record this dimension and call it (A). Install the thrust disc, retainer (5), bolt (4), and the washer to yoke (3). Using Tool (B), measure the depth from bottom of retainer (5) to the top of yoke (3). Record this dimension as (B). 15. Subtract dimension (B) from dimension (A) and call it dimension (C). Dimension (C) is the required shim thickness to provide an end play of 0.0 mm (.00 in) to 0.2 mm (.008 in). Install shims (7), thrust disc (6), retainer (5), two bolts (4), and the washers to the yoke. 16. Remove the suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) from yoke (3). 17. Lower the temperature of sleeve bearing (1) to a temperature of -75 °C (-103 °F).
