Information:
2 Cut the three wires, connected to resistor (1), 50.0 mm (2.00") from the resistor. Remove bolt (2) and the resistor. Retain the bolt. Be sure to put identification on the wires to ensure correct installation of the new resistor. 3 Install new resistor assembly (3) with former bolt (2). Tighte bolt (2) and bolt (4) to a torque of 12.0 4.0 N m (9.0 3.0 lb-ft). Remove insulation from the motor wire and the switch wires as required to permit installation of new terminal connectors. Connect the wires to the respective wires of resistor assembly (3).4 Check the operation of the motor. Install parts removed to gain access to the motors; see the Service Manual.
