Note: The joystick controls are listed below. Your machine may not be equipped with the joysticks or all of the controls on the joysticks that are shown below . Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the host machine for details on Skid Steer Loader, Multi Terrain Loader , or Compact Track Loader controls and operation.
Illustration 9 g01125430B-Series SSL / MTL models use the auxiliary hydraulic control (1) in order to supply High Flow to the work tool. The switch for the auxiliary hydraulic control (1) must first be energized in order for the work tool to operate in High Flow.For the B-Series SSL / MTL models only, press the right side of the switch (1) in order to select high flow. The indicator light will illuminate.Note: Ensure that the jumper plug for the work tool is connected to the host machine. The jumper plug must be connected in order to supply High Flow to the work tool for all C-Series and D-Series machines.Note: Depending on the host machine and work tool configuration, a work tool conversion kit or a machine harness kit may be required. The different configurations could be 5 hydraulic lines with an 8 pin plug or 3 hydraulic lines with a 14 pin plug. Consult your Cat dealer for complete information.Activate the drum control (2) on the host machine. The Mulching Head rotor will start to rotate and activate the continous flow function on the host machine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the host machine for additional information.Note: The continuous flow control supplies continuous flow of hydraulic fluid to the auxiliary hydraulic circuit without continuously holding the auxiliary hydraulic control.Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Work Tool Operation" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls"of your host machine for additional information.
