New verses old bolted flange design (1) Previous flange (2) New flange (A) Previous 291-5203 Bolt (bolt length 40 mm (1.57 inch)) (B) New 311-8193 Bolt (bolt length 45 mm (1.77 inch)A new flange design has been introduced for the 304-9602 Fuel Injection Lines Gp and the 327-0844 Fuel Injection Lines Gp. The newly designed lines groups incorporate new flanges (2) that are thicker than the previous flanges (1) that are found in the old lines group. The new bolt (B) for the thicker flanges are longer than the previous bolt (A) .Note: The bolts for the lines groups cannot be interchanged. If the shorter bolts are used with the thicker flange, the thread engagement of the bolt will be insufficient. If the longer bolts are used with the thinner flange, the bolt will bottom in the threaded bolt hole before tightening. Ensure that you use the correct bolts for the lines group that you are installing.

Locations for the new flanges on the fuel lines groups (3) 327-0844 Fuel Injection Lines Gp (4) 304-9602 Fuel Injection Lines Gp The 327-0844 Fuel Injection Lines Gp (3) utilizes two of the thicker flanges in the new design. The 304-9602 Fuel Injection Lines Gp (4) utilizes four of the thicker flanges in the new design. Note: The 311-8193 Bolt is designed as a single use component. Ensure that the bolts that are removed from the engine are discarded promptly.Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual for installation instructions.The new fuel lines groups became effective at the following serial numbers:
