2. Remove dirt guard (1) and lock (2).3. Remove cap (6) and lock (4). Check retainer nut (3) for tightness. To loosen adjusting nut (5) turn it one or two turns in a clockwise direction. Tighten the retainer nut (3) to a torque of 350 50 lb. ft. (470 70 N m).4. Use three 1/2-13 NC bolts, 1.5 in. (38.1 mm) long to fasten the 6V4032 Adapter to the bearing support.5. Put three 1/2-13 NC bolts, 4.75 in. (120.7 mm) long through the holes in the 5P8632 Trunnion Assembly and three 5P8634 Spacers to fasten the trunnion assembly to the adapter.6. Use the driver assembly to adjust the preload on the bearings.7. While the sprocket is turned, tighten the adjusting nut to a torque of 1600 lb. ft. (2160 N m). Turn the nut in a counterclockwise direction to tighten.8. Loosen the adjusting nut to a torque that is below 350 lb. ft. (470 N m).9. Tighten the adjusting nut to a torque of 350 lb. ft. (470 N m). Put a mark on the adjusting nut and on the holder assembly. Put a second mark on the holder 3 in. (76 mm) to the left of the first mark.10. To preload the bearings, tighten the adjusting nut until the mark on the nut is in alignment with the second mark on the holder.11. Continue to tighten the nut to the next notch if the lock can not be installed.12. Remove the tools.13. Install the lock (2), dirt guard (1), lock (4) and cap (6).14. Lower the machine to the ground.15. Adjust the track.
