A FT-1114 Vacuum Cap 1 Start By:
Remove the right side engine panels. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Sound Suppression - Remove and Install". Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank . Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 276 to 414 kPa (40 to 60 psi) of air. This procedure will pull a vacuum on the hydraulic system.

For photographic purposes, the cab has been removed.

Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and hose assemblies (4). Disconnect the harness assemblies (not shown).
Remove bolts (2) and remove control manifold (1).

Remove elbow (6) and the O-ring seal. Remove tee (8), elbow (10), and the O-ring seals.
Remove connectors (5), (7), and (9). Remove the O-ring seals.
