Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before installation, all components and mating surfaces should be thoroughly clean. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Inspect all gaskets and seals. If any gaskets or seals are worn or damaged, use new gaskets or seals for replacement. Lubricate all O-ring seals with the fluid that is being sealed. All installation procedures should be performed in a clean work area.

Attach a suitable lifting device and a hoist to pump drive (1) at lifting eyes (5). Pump drive (1) weighs approximately 870 kg (1918 lb). Position pump drive (1) at the rear of the engine. Align the splines of the input shaft with the torsional coupling. Slide pump drive (1) in place.
Install 16 bolts (6) and the washers in order to secure pump drive (1) to the flywheel housing.
Install 12 bolts (7) and the washers that secure pump drive (1) to the support brackets. Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 900 100 N m (664 75 lb ft).
Refer to markings on lines, hoses, and tubes for assembly purposes.

Connect hose (2) to gear pump (3) .
Connect hose (4) to pump drive (1) .End By:
Install the swing pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Swing) - Install".
Install the implement pumps. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Implement) - Install".
