Top view (A) Holes for the horn contact wire. (B ) Drilled hole
Telescope the steering column to the maximum length.
Remove the horn button from the steering wheel.
Line up the cover kit and the steering wheel so that the holes for contact wire (A) for the horn line up with each other.
Position a 4 mm (0.2 inch) drill bit in the recessed area of the steering wheel at location (B). The drill bit should rest against the side of the recessed area of the steering wheel.
Use a 4 mm (0.2 inch) drill in order to create a hole through the steering wheel and the cover kit.
Install spring pin (1) into drilled hole (B) with a hammer and a punch. A correctly installed spring pin should be flush with the bottom of the recessed area of the steering wheel.

Install the horn button by placing the horn button into the recess at location (C) .
Place a thumb at location (D) and press with index fingers at locations (E) .Procedure for the 255-2741 Steering Wheel

Telescope the steering column to the maximum length.
Remove the horn button from the steering wheel.
Line up the cover kit and the steering wheel so that the holes for contact wire (A) for the horn line up with each other.
Position a 4 mm (0.2 inch) drill bit 33 mm (1.3 inch) from the center of the steering wheel at location (B) .
Use a 4 mm (0.2 inch) drill in order to create a hole through the steering wheel and the cover kit.
Install spring pin (1) into drilled hole (B) with a hammer and a punch. A correctly installed spring pin should be flush with the bottom of the recessed area of the steering wheel.
