CYLINDER & SEAL GP-STICK 3683228 - Caterpillar

1. Remove timing hole cover (1) and pointer for timing mark.2. Remove seven of the bolts (2) that hold flywheel to crankshaft.3. Fasten a hoist to flywheel with tool (A). Remove the last bolt and remove the flywheel. Weight of flywheel is 290 lb. (132 kg).Install Flywheel
1. Install a 3/4"-16NF guide bolt (1) 5 in. (12.7 cm) long in bolt hole of crankshaft that has a mark by it.2. Fasten a hoist to flywheel (2) with tool (A). Install flywheel with bolt hole that has a mark by it in alignment with guide bolt in crankshaft.3. Install the bolts that hold flywheel to crankshaft.
