Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To help prevent possible injury, perform the procedure that follows before testing and adjusting the hydraulic and steering system:
The pressure and flow compensator valve on the pump can be tested with one of the pump discharge tests. The high pressure stall test indicates the needs for adjustment of the pressure cutoff spool. The margin pressure test indicates the needs for adjustment of the margin spool.Pressure Cutoff Spool Adjustment

Pressure cutoff spool in the pressure and flow compensator valve (3) Stop (4) Spring (5) Pressure cutoff spool (6) Cap (7) NutWhen a high pressure stall test indicates a need for adjustment of the pressure cutoff spool, follow this procedure:
Lower the implements to the ground.
Stop the engine. Move the implement control levers and move the steering control lever to all positions in order to release the pressure in the implement and steering hydraulic system.
Hold stop (3) with a 5 mm hex wrench and loosen nut (7) with a 17 mm combination wrench. Turn stop (3) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting. Turn stop (3) clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting. One revolution of stop (3) will change the pressure setting by 3500 kPa (510 psi).
When the pressure setting is adjusted, hold stop (3) with the hex wrench and tighten nut (7) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).
Repeat the high pressure stall test. Make sure that the cutoff pressure is 38500 550 kPa (5585 80 psi).Margin Spool Adjustment

Hold stop (8) with a 5 mm hex wrench and loosen nut (12) with a 17 mm combination wrench. Turn stop (8) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting. Turn stop (8) clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting. One revolution of stop (8) will change the pressure setting by 3500 kPa (510 psi).
When the pressure setting is adjusted, hold stop (8) with the hex wrench and tighten nut (12) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).
Repeat the margin pressure test. Make sure that the margin pressure is 2100 70 kPa (305 10 psi).
