Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Put the gasket and the O-ring seals in position on the rear of the cylinder block.
Install Tooling (A) in the top of the rear housing. Use a suitable lifting device. The weight of the rear housing is approximately 210 kg (463 lb).
Put the rear housing in position on the cylinder block. Install the bolts that hold the rear housing in place.
Trim the gasket between the rear housing and the cylinder block even with the bottom of the rear housing.
Install the bolts that hold the oil pan to the rear housing.
Tighten all the bolts that hold the oil pan evenly in order to raise the oil pan into position.
Connect the oil pump inlet tube to the oil pump. End By:
Install the manual barring group. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Manual Barring Group - Install".
Install the starting motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Electric Starting Motor - Install".
Install the crankshaft rear seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Rear Seal - Install".
Install the magneto. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Magneto - Install".
Install the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Install".
