Install Tooling (A) onto the wheel. The weight of wheel (1) is approximately 1383 kg (3050 lb). Be sure that Tooling (A) is supporting the wheel. Remove Tooling (B) that was installed during the Final Drive- Remove procedure.

Attach Tooling (B) around the wheel and back to Tooling (A). Remove outer bearing (2).Note: Ensure that the wheel remains vertical, while the wheel stays centered on the axle.

Install Tooling (C) and plate (2A) with four bolts.
For the rear wheels

Assemble the brake holding tool. Apply Tooling (G) to the threads of all the fittings when assembling the brake holding tool.

Typical Example
Disconnect and plug the brake cooling hose (not shown) and hose assembly (5). Install plug (4). Install Tooling (D).
Apply a maximum of 5515 kPa (800 psi) to Tooling (D) and close the valve to hold the brake disc in place.
Remove drain plug (6) from brake housing and air purge cap (3).
For the front wheels.
Do not release the parking brake so the brake discs stay in place.
Remove wheel (1).

Remove bearing cup (7) if necessary.

Remove Duo-Cone seals (8). Remove bearing cup (9).

Remove Duo-Cone seals (10) and (11).Installation Procedure
Install wheel (1) in the reverse order of removal.
Use Tooling (E) and (F) to install Duo-Cone seals (8), (10), and (11).
