Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the brake/hoist oil cooler .
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Loosen clamps (1) .

Loosen clamps (2) and remove tube (3) . Disconnect hose assembly (4) .

Use Tooling (A) to remove filters (5) .

Remove line (6) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to cooler (9) . The weight of cooler (9) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove bolts (10) and cooler (9) .Installation Procedure
Install cooler (9) in the reverse order of removal.
