1. Pivot plate clearance (A) ... 0.25 to 1.25 mm (.010 to .050 in)2. To check clearance (A) put the control lever in the fully stroked position and using a feeler gauge measure dimension (A). If dimension (A) is not within tolerance, undo locknut (1) and make an adjustment to pivot plate (2). Screw pivot plate clockwise to decrease clearance, counterclockwise to increase clearance.3. When the correct clearance has been obtained, tighten locknut (1) to the correct torque and recheck dimension (A).
