Information:
(1) Governor lever, in high idle position.(2) Intermediate levers (two levers on same shaft).(3) Ends for the pedal rod.(4) Control pedal.(5) Pedal stop bolt for the high idle position.(6) Angle between the pedal and the floor plate: Pedal in high idle position ... 28°Pedal in fuel off position ... 65°(7) Ends for the governor rod.(8) Distance between centers of pins ... 44.49 .06 in.(1130.0 1.5 mm)Adjustment procedure: 1. Adjust the stop bolt (5) so the pedal stops at the correct high idle angle (6). 2. Disconnect the pedal rod and adjust the pedal rod ends (3) to the correct distance (8). Install the pedal rod. 3. Disconnect the governor rod. 4. Put the governor lever (1) and the control pedal (4) in high idle position. Adjust the rod ends (7) so the rod will fit correctly in the governor lever (1) and in the longer intermediate lever (2). 5. Tighten the locknut of all rod ends. 6. If necessary, adjust the pedal stop bolt (5) again. Adjust so the pedal stops when the governor lever (1) is in high idle position. Tighten the locknut for the stop bolt.
