If the center axle input bearing fails, replace the failed bearing with the 3149342/">314-9342 Bearing packed with 2S-3230 High Speed Ball Bearing Grease. The 2S-3230 Bearing Grease should be packed between the inner race and the bearing cage and packed around the rollers. The 2S-3230 Bearing Grease will provide the necessary lubricant at initial start-up in order to allow the bearings to break-in and in order to avoid failure of the bearings.
Refer to your machines Disassembly and Assembly Manual for the disassembly and assembly procedures.
Adjust the parking brake. Refer to your Operation and Maintenance Manual, 725 and 730 Articulated Trucks, SEBU7814-07, "Adjusting the Parking Brake".
