Open the AC breaker.
Disconnect DC battery supply.

Remove panel (1) .

Disconnect cable assemblies (3), Current Transformer (CT) wiring (2), and ground (4). Remove any cable straps if necessary.

Disconnect harness assemblies (6) .

Note: If air filter (7) removal is needed, ensure that nothing is dropped into the turbo (9) inlet tube.
Remove air filter (7) to aid in the removal of the generator.
Remove air exit screen (8) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to generator (10). Refer to Table 2 for the approximate weight of generator (10).

Use Tooling (B) and suitable cribbing to support the rear of engine (11). Refer to Table 3 for the approximate weight of engine (11).

Remove bolts (12) from the coupling discs.
Remove bolts (13) for the flange.
