A     1P-1859     Retaining Ring Pliers     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the removal procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all hoses and on all harness assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Disconnect hose (1). Remove covers (2) .

Remove nut (3) and the washer. Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (4) and the washer. Remove wiper blades (5) .

Remove screws (6). As a unit, remove cover (7) and the radio.Note: Disconnect the harness assembly for the radio.

Remove screws (8). Position headliner (9) out of the way.

Remove cover (10). Remove washer (11). Remove nut (12) and the gasket. Remove stud (13) and the gasket.

Disconnect harness assembly (14). Remove wiper motor (15) .
