Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to install fuel tank (1). The fuel tank weighs 128 kg (281 lb).

Install two bolts (7).

Connect two hose assemblies (5) and two clamps (6) to the fuel tank.

Install breather (2) and install electronic control for engine shutdown (3) to the fuel tank. Install ECM (4) to the fuel tank. End By: Install hoods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove".
