Attach Tooling (A) to steering control valve (2) and to cab support (4).
Install two guide bolts of suitable size in the mounting plate.
Use Tooling (A) to raise steering control valve (2) through the opening in the rear frame. The weight of steering control valve (2) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

Install bolts (5) that secure the steering control valve to the machine.
Illustration 3 g00320643Note: Check the seals in the ends of the hose assemblies. Replace any seals that are worn or damaged. Apply clean hydraulic oil to the seals.
Connect tube assemblies (1) and hose assemblies (3) to steering control valve (2).
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct filling procedure.
Start the engine and check for leaks. Note: After the steering frame lock is separated, check for proper operation of the steering system.End By:
