222-3124 Component Cleaner Cleaning components that contain TCE must not be used on electrical components, due to the incompatibility of the TCE and specific materials that are found in many electrical components.Use a cotton swab and denatured alcohol if the interior surfaces of the following components need to be cleaned: electrical contacts, seals and insulators Interior surfaces of the connector must be cleaned and interior surfaces must be dried before reconnecting. The connector must be replaced if dirt or corrosion cannot be removed with denatured alcohol.
