On the blade, remove the laser/GPS masts, if necessary. Use air arc gouging in order to remove side bracket (4), side bracket (5) and center plate (6). Refer to Illustration 16.
Polish the top surface on the blade that might have been damaged from air arc gouging in order to get a clean surface that is ready to have the new brackets welded to the blade.
