Typical locationThe hose reel is attached to the right rear of the screed. Fuel spray hose (1) is stored on the reel.Note: When you use the fuel spray hose, do not spray the fuel on the following components: hydraulic hoses, electrical connections and electrical cables.
Stop the machine on level ground. Stop the machine in an area away from the mat. If it is necessary to park the machine on a grade, block the tires securely.
In order to prevent personal injury from accidental screed movement, lock the screed in the RAISED position by using the travel lock lever in order to extend the lock pins, after the screed is fully raised.
Connect the fuel spray hose to the fuel line connection. Open the fuel control valve.With each use, the fuel spray hose will need to be connected or disconnected.

Move screed fuel pump switch (2) upward to the Washdown position .
The washdown group is used to clean asphalt from the auger, the conveyor, and the screed.
Pull the trigger on the nozzle in order to start the washdown. Release the trigger in order to stop the washdown.
Disconnect the fuel spray hose when machine cleanup is complete.
