Removal Procedure

Move the machine forward or backward until segment (2) is in the correct position for removal, as shown.
Remove bolts (1). Remove segment (2). Installation Procedure

Apply clean oil to the threads of bolts (1). Install segment (2) and install bolts (1). Note: The head end of the bolts and the washers must be next to the final drive.
Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 300 50 N m (221 37 lb ft). Then, tighten the bolts by an additional 1/3 turn. The final torque must be a minimum of 570 N m (420 lb ft).
