Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to eccentric weight (8). Install eccentric weight (8) into position. The weight of eccentric weight (8) is approximately 522 kg (250 lb). Secure eccentric weight (8) with nuts (9) .

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to drum assembly (7) .
Move drum assembly (7) to the horizontal position. The weight of drum assembly (7) is approximately 522 kg (1150 lb).

Install mounts (6) into position on plate (4) .

Secure mounts (6) to plate (4) with bolts (5) .

Install Tooling (C) into drum assembly (7) .

Use Tooling (C) in order to install plate (4) onto the drum assembly. The weight of plate (4) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).

Secure plate (4) with bolts (3) .

Install plate assembly (2). Position the cut out Portion (Y) of plate (2) opposite weld Boss (Z) on inside of the drum.
Install bolts (1) .
Repeat Steps 5 through Step 11 for the opposite side.End By: Install the compactor drum support. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Compactor Drum Support - Remove and Install".
