Loosen the tracks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Adjust".

Note: The inner guards and outer guards must be removed prior to removal of the track roller that is located next to the sprocket. All of the other track rollers can be removed without removal of the guards.
Remove the bolts and guard (1) .
Lift the machine until the bottom of the track roller frame is at least 380 mm (15 inch) above the floor. Install Tooling (A) under the front and the rear of the machine.
If tracks are too tight or loose, wear of components is accelerated.If they appear too tight or too loose, adjust the track.Follow the procedures in the Maintenance Section for adjustment.
Tighten the track until the track is tight against the track roller.

Remove four bolts from track roller (2). Loosen the track. Track roller (2) will lower from the track frame as the track is loosened. Use a hoist and Tooling (B) to remove track roller (2). The weight of track roller (2) is 49.5 kg (110 lb).
