Save Settings Dialog
In order to access the "Save Settings" dialog, complete the following steps:
Make sure that a data card is inserted in the CD700 Display.
From any guidance screen, press the Menu key (8). The "Setup Menu - Configuration" screen appears.
Using the arrow keys (9), scroll to the "Save Settings" option.

When the Save Settings dialog is highlighted, press the OK key (10). The "Save Settings" dialog appears. This dialog is used in order to select either "Display Settings" or "Machine Settings". Refer to Illustration 1.

Use the Arrow keys (9) in order select a file type and then press the OK key (10) in order to save the selected file. A "Save Settings" dialog similar to the one shown in Illustration 2 appears for the selected file type.The following information pertains to the file name:
The default file name for display settings is "DISPLAY NN"
The default file name for machine settings is "COMPACTOR(NN)".
"NN" is a two digit number starting at 01 and incrementing with each new settings file that is saved.
You can save the settings to a file name that is more descriptive for your machine. Use the arrow keys to edit the default name.The number assigned to a new "Display Settings" file is one more than any similarly named settings file already on the data card. For example, if there is already a machine settings file named "COMPACTOR01" on the card, then the AccuGrade for Compactors System assigns the name "COMPACTOR02".Note: You cannot use the system display to overwrite or to delete an existing settings file.
After you have verified that the file name is correct, perform one of the following actions:
Confirm the settings - Press the OK key (10). The setupconfiguration is savedto the selected file name. The dialog is closed and the Save Settings dialog appears again.
Do not save changes - Press the Escape key (5). You are prompted to confirm that you want to abandon your changes. Press the OK key (10). The dialog is closed and the "Save Settings" dialog appears again.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 in order to save another configuration file.
Press the Escape key (5) in order to exit to the "Setup Menu – Configuration" dialog.
Press the Escape key (5) again in order to exit to the guidance screen.
