The Monitoring and Display System will also allow the operator to view diagnostic codes in order to communicate with a service technician concerning machine maintenance. The Monitoring and Display System will allow the service technician to view and clear diagnostic codes.Operation
The gauges, LCD's, and most of the LED alert indicators are driven by the Transmission/Chassis ECM over the CAN data link. The turn signal indicators, the high beam head lamp indicator, and the key switch have "switch to battery" (STB) direct connections to the Instrument Cluster (IC). The IC has a direct output to the action alarm. The following block diagram represents an overview of the Monitoring and Display System.

The Monitoring and Display System is in the Normal mode when the machine is in operation. In Normal Mode, the IC displays machine system status on the analog gauges, the LED indicators, and the Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD's).Diagnostic Mode
The function of Diagnostic Mode is to provide a list of diagnostic codes and event codes. The machine operator can access and view the diagnostic codes using the key switch. The service technician can view, scroll and clear the diagnostic codes using a clicker box. Event codes can
