3408 And 3412 Marine Engines Equipped With A Front Power Takeoff ClutchDescription of Change: New linkage kits with improved parts are available for repair of Twin Disc front power takeoff clutches used on 3408 and 3412 Marine Engines. The new kits have linkage that is held together with rivets and shoulder bolts. Formerly, pins and cotter pins were used in the linkage. Also, the clutch engagement levers in the new kits are made of a stronger material than formerly.Adaptable To: The new 5N6453 Clutch Kit is adaptable to single-plate and the 5N6454 Clutch Kit is adaptable to double-plate Twin Disc front power takeoff clutches used on 3408 and 3412 Marine Engines. The front and rear pressure plates are not a part of these kits. They must be ordered separately.
