Install O-ring seals (22) and (23).

Attach Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device to the bevel gear housing.

Position Tooling (D) under the rear end of transmission and bevel gear (17). Insert a prybar into Tooling (B) in order to balance the load of transmission and bevel gear (17). The weight of transmission and bevel gear (17) is approximately 590 kg (1300 lb).

Push transmission and bevel gear (17) toward the case and frame until rollers (18) are resting on the end of rail assembly (19).

Remove Tooling (E). Refer to Illustration 2. Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B).

Position handle (21) and bolts (20).

Position transmission and bevel gear (17) against the case and frame.

Install bolts (16). Tighten bolts (16) to a torque of 75 15 N m (55 11 lb ft).
Install bracket (15) and hose assembly (14).
Remove the suitable lifting device and Tooling (B).

Install cover (13) and bolts (12).
Install O-ring seals (11) and (10).

Pull connector (3) through cover (4). Install nut (2).
Install covers (7) and (6).
Install bolts (5).

Connect harness assembly (1).

Install the O-ring seal on carrier (9) and install carrier (9).
Install bolts (8). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Fill the power train oil system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Transmission Oil - Change". End By:
Install the power train oil filter and the base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Filter and Base (Power Train) - Install".
Install the axles. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Install".
Install the drawbar. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drawbar - Remove and Install".
Install the main drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
