Cat Grade Control D3K- D6K Track-Type Tractors Position Sensing Cylinders
The D3K- D6K Cat Grade Control Track-Type Tractors are equipped with Variable Pitch Power Angle and Tilt (VPAT) type blades and require Position Sensing Cylinders. The machines are equipped with two lift cylinders, two angle cylinders, and a tilt cylinder.The C-Frame maintains both lift cylinders at the same extension, and the angle cylinders work in unison. These three position sensing cylinders (PSC) provide the system with the position of the blade in relation to the chassis of the machine.

Variable Power Pitch Angle and Tilt Blade(VPAT) blades on D3K-D6K machines have wiring routed on the C-frame to the blade. The extension provided by the Left Lift Position Sensing Cylinder provides the lift of the C-Frame. The Wiring for this Cylinder is routed along the chassis. Blade Tilt Position Sensing Cylinder, provides the tilt of the blade in relation to the C-Frame. The wiring for this cylinder is routed through the Stable Blade Box and along the C-Frame.
