Remove bolts (11) and solenoid valve (12).

Remove O-ring seals (13) from solenoid valve (12).

Repeat Step 7 through Step 9 for the remaining valve assemblies (8).

Remove nut (15) and coil assembly (16).

Install the O-ring seal and fitting (17). Tighten fitting (17) to a torque of 14 4 N m (124 35 lb in).

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the cartridge assembly. Install coil assembly (16) and nut (15). Tighten nut (15) to a torque of 13 1.5 N m (115 13 lb in).
Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 for the remaining valve assembly (7).

Install the O-ring seal and fitting (14). Tighten fitting (14) to a torque of 14 4 N m (124 35 lb in).

Install O-ring seals (13) on solenoid valve (12).

Install solenoid valve (12) and bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 3.7 0.8 N m (33 7 lb in).
Repeat Step 4 through Step 6 for the remaining valve assemblies (8).

The transmission planetary and valve assemblies (8) are removed from the transmission for clarity.

Note: Valve assemblies (8) and valve assemblies (7) are different and cannot be interchanged.
Install valve assemblies (8) and bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 30 4 N m (266 35 lb in).
Install valve assemblies (7) and bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 30 4 N m (266 35 lb in).

Connect harness assembly (5).

Install the O-ring seal, cover (3), cover (2), and bolts (4).
Position the hose assembly and install the clip and bolt (1).
