Remove the floorplates. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Floor Plates - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Remove the mirror. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Mirror - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Drain the hydraulic tank.Note: The hydraulic oil must be contained in the proper manner. Refer to Special Publication, NENG7004, "Contamination Control Catalog".

Disconnect lines (1) and (2) .
Remove tube (3) and hose (4) .
Remove suction line (5) and suction hose (6) .

Install Tooling (A) and Tooling (B), as shown.
Attach a strap and Tooling (B) to the pump.
Remove the mounting nuts and the pump. The weight of the pump is approximately 26.15 kg (57.650 lb).
