Remove the hose (6) from elbow (2) and the auxiliary pump (1) .
Assemble and install tee (4) to elbow (2) .
Install hose (6) to elbow (2) .
Assemble and Install seal (7) and nipple assembly (8) to tee (4) .
Connect hose (9) to nipple assembly (8) .
Assemble and install a 40000 kPa (5800 psi) pressure gauge (11) to hose (9) .
Start the engine.
Perform the calibration procedure for engine speed in Testing and Adjusting, "Governor Actuator - Calibrate" for the Tool Control System.
Place the machine controls at the following settings: engine speed dial "10" and AEC switch OFF. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Performance - Test - Engine Speed" for the machine for engine rpm settings.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 55° 5°C (131° 9°F).
Set the pilot pressure to the specifications in Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Pilot) - Test and Adjust" for the machine.
Loosen locknut (6) . Turn the adjustment screw (3) for the main relief valve for auxiliary stem 3 clockwise for one half turn. This will ensure that the main relief valve for auxiliary stem 3 is set above the line relief valve for auxiliary stem 3.
Move the left joystick slide control FORWARD or BACKWARD. Check the auxiliary pump discharge pressure on gauge (11) .
Return the left joystick slide control to NEUTRAL position.
The pressure setting for the line relief valves must be within the specifications for the auxiliary control valve (medium pressure). If the pressure setting of line relief valves are not within the specifications, loosen the locknut (4) and adjust the line relief valves to a pressure setting of 22100 kPa (3205 psi) to 23100 kPa (3350 psi).Note: Turn the adjustment screw clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure.Note: Always make final pressure adjustments on pressure rise.
Return the main relief valve for the auxiliary control valve (medium pressure) to the specified pressure setting. Tighten locknut (6) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).

Tighten locknut (4) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
