The right access door provides access to this component. The left hopper and tow point manifold is mounted on the left side of the machine, in the same relative position.The right hopper and tow point manifold (1) is equipped with the following solenoids:
Right hopper lower solenoid (2)
Right tow point raise solenoid (4)
Right tow point lower solenoid (6)
Right hopper raise solenoid (10) The following ports are used in order to measure supply pressure:
Port "G" - Pump supply pressure can be measured at pressure tap (3) .
Port "G1" - Supply pressure to right tow point raise solenoid (4) and right tow point lower solenoid (6) can be measured at pressure tap (5) .Pressure reducing valve (7) limits the supply pressure to right tow point raise solenoid (4) and the right tow point lower solenoid (6). This valve limits the downstream pressure to 6900 345 kPa (1000 50 psi).Each tow point solenoid has an associated arc suppressor within arc suppressor module (8). Each arc suppressor provides a current path for the inductive energy in the coil of the associated solenoid. This path prevents an arc from forming across the tow point switch as the solenoid de energizes.The right hopper and tow point manifold (1) is equipped with two counterbalance valves (9), one shown. The counterbalance valves prevent the tow point from being raised or lowered unless the appropriate tow point solenoid is energized.
