START BY:a. separation of tractor and scraper 1. Disconnect three elevator motor hose assemblies (1), (2) and (3). These are located on the left side of the bowl. Install plugs in the hose assemblies to prevent oil leakage and hydraulic system contamination. 2. Fasten a hoist to the bowl lift cylinder, and remove the bolts, bar (4) and pin (5) that hold both bowl lift cylinders. Lower the cylinders to the floor. 3. Disconnect the hose assemblies as follows: door cylinder (8), ejector cylinder (6), fuel return (7), fuel supply (9) and brake line (10).4. Remove bolts (11) from the support assembly. Remove the bands that hold the electrical cable to the ejector cylinder tube assembly. 5. Remove light assembly (13) and electrical cable clamps (12). Remove electrical cable (14) from the draft frame. 6. Fasten a hoist to the draft frame as shown. 7. Remove the bolts, bar (15) and pins (16) from the inside of the scraper bowl on both sides.8. Remove the draft frame. The weight of the draft frame is approximately 1180 kg (2600 lb.). 9. If necessary, remove the bushings from the ends of the draft frame arms with tooling (A).Install Draft Frame
1. If the bearings were removed, lower the temperature of the bearings, and install them in the draft frame arms with tooling (A). 2. Fasten a hoist to draft frame (1), and put it in position.3. Install the pins on each side of the scraper bowl. 4. Install light (2), electrical cable (3) and the cable clamps. 5. Install support (6) on the draft frame. Install hose assemblies as follows: fuel return line (4), fuel supply line (not shown), brake line (8), ejector cylinder (5) and door cylinder (7). 6. Fasten a hoist to lift bowl cylinders (10). Put them in position, and install pins (9). 7. Install elevator motor hose assemblies (11), (12) and (13).END BY:a. connection of tractor and scraper
