Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (7) . The weight of turbocharger (7) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).
Install a new gasket between the exhaust manifold and turbocharger (7) . Position turbocharger (7) on the exhaust manifold. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (9) . Install bolts (9) and tighten to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).
Install the O-ring seals on the adapter. Lubricate the O-ring seals with Tooling (B) . Connect the adapter to turbocharger (7) and install bolts (10) .
Connect hose assembly (11) and hose assembly (8) .

Position clamp (5) and clamp (4) . Tighten the nuts on the clamps to a torque of 14 1 N m (124 9 lb in). Lightly tap around the diameter of the clamps with a soft hammer. Tighten the nuts again to a torque of 14 1 N m (124 9 lb in).
Install the gasket and connect elbow (6) . Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the bolts and install the bolts.
Connect adapter (3) . Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the bolts and install the bolts.

Install back cover (2) .
Install front cover (1) .
Install the spring clips on the top and sides of covers (1) and (2) .
