The nesting material may ignite during use or aftershutdown, causing a fire. The guard prevents birds from building nestsin this area. The customer must perform the rework. The dealermust submit a SIMS report for every serial number that a customer receivesa guard. The dealer will not be reimbursed unless the SIMS report is receivedwith the serial number. The serial number of the machine is on the lettersent to the customer. We suggest that the dealer not supply guard unlessthey receive the letter from the customer in order to keep track of theserial numbers. Slide the 2094162 Guard over the muffler. Push the guardthrough the hole in the hood. Rotate the guard so that the guard fits flaton the hood. See Special Instruction REHS1577 or the attached Rework Procedure.OWNER NOTIFICATION
