2. Remove plug (1) and drain coolant from the transmission oil cooler, and install the plug.3. Remove two oil lines (2), and cap the line so that transmission oil will not be lost.4. Remove four bolts (3), and remove transmission oil cooler (4). 5. Remove four bolts (5), and remove the end cover and gasket. 6. Use a 4.37 mm (.172 in.) diameter rod (6) to clean each tube of the transmission oil cooler. The following steps are for the installation of the transmission oil cooler.7. Position the gasket and end cover, and install four bolts (5).8. Position transmission oil cooler (4), and install bolts (3). Install two oil lines (2).9. Fill the cooling system with coolant, and check the transmission oil level. See the Maintenance Guide.
